Remastering a masterpiece

Analogue to digital conversion is a science and an art, every bit as much as creating the work in the first place.

For custodians of archives who have a sizeable collection of recordings pressed to vinyl, the ability to obtain faithful electronic versions of those recordings affordably can mean ‘make or break’.

Being able to attract new audiences to the archive, supplementing existing audiences, determines the lifespan of a collection. This is true of both public and private collections.

Sharing, syndicating, and promoting backlists has long been the lifeblood of assuring revenues for composers, artists, conductors, orchestras and producers.

In much the same way, licensing the rights for brand new scores, songs, and pieces which have never been available before generates some significant income when done professionally.

Premier Audio understand these factors and fully respects the copyright vested in recorded work it handles for clients.

For that reason, we accept commissions only from bona fide custodians and owners of collections.

We never permit our facilities and know-how to be misused in, for example, producing ‘bootleg’ copies which are unauthorised. And our processes are logged and can be audited.

This all means your vinyl originals will be in safe hands and you will receive the digital remasters you instruct us to deliver.
