Leadership
Lee Gardner is engineering director at Premier Audio Labs and Hire. He is probably one of the first people you will meet when placing an enquiry with us. Lee is best known for his extensive industry knowledge and his straightforward approach to assisting clients. He has over thirty six years experience in advisory and consultancy as an engineer.
'Good Morning Colne' with Lee Gardner, was broadcast every Friday, 9am - 11am
Lee didn't just live through the disco era, he was one of the people who created it. In the 1970s and 1980s, Lee toured widely and found himself in great demand for nightclubs and private functions.
He built a reputation as a respected performer in his own right, able to adopt styles for both live-event showmanship and for broadcasting.
Many fans say Lee has a voice made for radio with a knowledge of music to match. And his passion for music of all genres continues.
'Feel the Rhythms!' with The Colne Selector, was broadcast every other Thursday, 9pm-11pm
He loves the ethos of ‘music for all to enjoy’ and previously offered some of his time as a presenter on community radio. For example, with Colne Radio his shows broadcasting great music, and local interest features were very popular with people living and working in North East Essex.
Lee is a member of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (MIET), a member of the Audio Engineering Society (MAES) and a fellow of the Chartered Management Institute (FCMI). Additionally, he was awarded his MBA by University of Bedfordshire Business School.
