Digital Remastering
Premier Audio Labs use the output from the audio restoration process and create new master versions.
The new master is named and meta data tags added to identify the work, the year and the copyright holders, plus characteristics such as the performing artists, genre, record label, etc.
We are able to use the classification and coding standard used by The British Library, or any other standard you require for your collection.
We save all new masters in .wav or .aiff file formats prior to any other target formats you may need. Target file formats include .m4a for iTunes / .mp3 / FLAC or any other compression standard you want to specify. Remastered work is saved to a dedicated repository which you can access at any time.
This repository is the delivery mechanism preferred by many our customers. The repository itself is a highly secure solution stack in three redundant locations plus the cloud. By request, we can deliver via physical media such as SSD or CD.
